Horse Copse in Spring
For 2010 our site fees are £9.00 per night including electric hook-up.

The Horse Copse Home Page

Horse Copse is situated 3 miles north of Wimborne Minster at Holt, in the beautiful Dorset countryside. This caravan club certificated location is adjoining a small copse which has been designated a ‘Site of Nature Conservation Interest’ by the Dorset Trust for Nature Conservation.

In springtime the site is a mass of daffodils and  the copse  carpeted with bluebells. The copse also contains many other woodland flowers, together with an abundance of animals and birds that can be seen by the quiet visitor.

Dogs are welcome and can be exercised either in the copse or on the local footpaths.

The village pub - The Old Inn - is one mile away and there are several other pubs in the area that also serve food, including The Cross Keys which is a more traditional pub that serves food and also has a take-away menu!

For a traditional pub with tasty food, that is dog friendly and has free Wifi connection try the Green Man in Wimborne. They have won the Best Public House Display in the Wimborne in Bloom competition 2 years running!

Sadly our village shop, Holt Stores and PO, closed on 3 November 2008.

The nearest village shop is Furzehill Stores and PO just 1 mile further.
