9 miles further and
you come to Bournemouth and Poole. Locals will argue over which has the best
beaches, but you can be sure the 7 miles of golden sand that runs between the
two boroughs is among the best in the country. Both towns offer good shopping
and night life with many special attractions laid on during the
summer.
*****
Close by is Moors Valley
Country Park with its Play Trails, Tree top Trails, Narrow Gauge Steam Railway,
Golf Course and now Go Ape, a high wire forest adventure which is not for the
faint hearted!
